Shanghai Rich Cloud Technology Co., Ltd. (RCT) has, by virtue of its powerful technical strength and rich experience and leadership in IT Infrastructure field of financial industry, won the bidding in “Integration Purchase for Cloud Computing Platform of National Cloud Computing Sample Project” of China UnionPay, standing out from its competitors, and successfully signed the contract of “UnionPay 2012 Procurement of IT Network Equipments for Cloud Computing” with China UnionPay in Nov. 2012.
Running as the union organization of Chinese bank cards, China UnionPay has been in the core and hub of China banking industry playing an essential basic role in the industry development. Many innovative business models launched by UnionPay are breaking the existing operating pattern presenting new challenges to the IT Infrastructure. Confronting with such challenges, to build a comprehensive service platform integrating electronic payment and electronic commerce based on cloud computing is the preferred solution considering the backdrop.
RCT will provide UnionPay the installation, commissioning, going online, operation maintenance and other service packages during the construction stage of the UnionPay Cloud Computing Center Network System project. The Cloud Computing Center Network System to be completed will feature multi party collaboration, high collaboration & sharing of resources, standardized services and networked access, etc. All of such will bring distinct experiences to the cardholders and the business entities requiring e-payment services of which a deep-going reform from the application domain to the cross industrial chain parties cooperation domain in expectable. Meanwhile, the Cloud Computing Center also characterize in rich resources, mass storage capacity and highly reliable & safe technology to endow the architecture with greater flexibility facilitating service innovations, operation management and, finally, improvement of IT resource utilization rate and cost-performance.
Successful execution of the project is a main breakthrough achieved by RCT in its “Cloud Consultation & Service” sector and a marker of RCT gradually penetration into the “Cloud Computing” planning, implementation and operation maintenance areas of the financial industry.
