At the beginning of the New Year, the Technology Contest of FY13 Cisco’s Partners in East China – Engineers’ Technology Speech Contest was held in Shanghai.
The contest was divided into three stages, i.e. preliminary contest, semifinal and final. With the best achievement in Cisco Technology Night School, Jimmy, the engineer of Rich Cloud Technology, directly entered the semifinal. On January 8, Jimmy successfully passed the Engineers’ Technical Speech Semifinal of Cisco’s Partners in Shanghai with a smooth and well-organized speech and entered the final in East China. The Final of the Top Contest of Cisco’s Partners in East China started on January 18. There were totally six contestants. The judges were all senior leaders of Cisco, general agents and Cisco’s partners in East China. Such a strong team of judges brought great pressure to all contestants. Our five opponents were all technical elite with strong skills, who stood out of 200 contestants from the preliminary contest. The entire contest was wonderful. All the contestants tried their best to show their most competitive talent in the 10-mitune speech. Through nearly two hours long fierce contest, Jimmy drew universal praises from all judges and finally won the championship with elegant stage manner, novel train of thought and witty integration of Cisco’s latest technologies in the speech.
